May 27: Governor signed SB9 (PA26-21) and SB 477 (PA26-76). These two bills were included in the $20.3 million worth of public transportation improvements signed into law. They are the foundation for and fund Veteran and high school bus pass grants. These bills also add Shore Line East Rail Service and extend microtransit another year.

July 1: Law went into effect for the 2026-2027 school year

October: The final piece of the $2.5 million program rolled out with 0.5 million going towards 50% fare reductions for minors!
